Saturday, February 8th
10:30 AM
Washington Public Library
The January meeting almost required water wings, but several people were able to splash their way to the Huntingburg Library.
Hopefully February will bring us good weather and a full house!
Here's the lowdown on projects.....
Melanie finished her sheep with a braided boarder, which it obviously loved since it's jumping for joy. |
Is Sue's latest work a wintry tribute to the Beatles? No, they didn't live in a snowy submarine, so don't be misguided by a sideways snowman. |
Sharon's snowman is being transformed into a pillow... let the whipping with yarn begin! |
Sharon's sheep, also destined to be a pillow, is all but finished. |
A close up of how Sharon's is finishing her piece. The wool backing was machine sewn onto the linen, leaving a margin of linen to whip with yarn. |
One imagines that when she was little, Anne wasn't too good at coloring in the lines. However, she decided to use the linen on a discounted-pattern to make her own Christmas stockings. |
Melanie was working on some little Christmas themed items. Right now he's a little hairy, but bet he cleans up nicely! |
Sheila has made great progress & continues to work on her silk thread cross-stitch. Can't wait to see the completed piece! |
💟💟💟
Hope to see you at the February meeting!
