Join in the fun of the Hoosier Hills Rug Guild!
The next meeting will be held at:
Huntington Public Library
419 N. Jackson Street
Huntingburg, IN 47542
Saturday, November 9th at 10 AM
First off, know anyone interested in finding out more about Rug Hooking? Well, there will be an Open House of the Hoosier Hills Rug Guild at the November meeting. So come on down, peruse the various projects, see rug hooking and crafters in action, and ask questions! This is open to the public, and is free!
Meanwhile at the October meeting, it was as if it was the Melody Show with a few select guest artists... we're not sure when Melody sleeps, but she continues to amaze others with how proficient she is at completing projects!
Melody brought in a Santa project she recently completed. |
Apparently since Sheila has the chimney on her silk needlepoint house completed she's now on to making a Santa to drop in! |
Libby's quillie trees need a topper, so she's making some birds to adorn trees. |
Using the color of the Santa themed projects, Linda is crocheting scrubbies. Perhaps Sheila will want one to make sure her needlepoint chimney is ready for Santa. |
Anne's rabbit is complete! |
Melody was working on completing her current project... |
... complete with tassels! |
Judy's vase & flowers are progressing. More than half-way done and even tho it's now late October the blooms are as fresh as they day they were hooked. |
Hope to see you at the November meeting! Reminder: December meeting is usually reserved for the Guild's Christmas Gathering. |
