Be expecting pilgrims soon, because here come the May Flowers!

The May meeting of the Hoosier Hills Rug Guild

will once again be held at the Huntingburg Public Library

Saturday, May 8th starting at 10:30

(Note: the library opens at 10, so feel free to get a head start!)

Here's the highlights of the April meeting!

Debbie knows egg-actly what she's doing on her chicken design.

Jane's planning ahead for fall with her pumpkin.

Anne's finished the hooking, now to steam & bind her chair pad.

Sharon's coming along on her fox!
Interesting side note:  she started working on this & then saw a fox in her backyard.  Wonder what would happen if she started working on an elephant scene!  Or perhaps dinosaurs anyone?  Aliens?

Sue's dog is looking a bit ruff as it's definitely
in the beginning stages.

Melody is increasing her flock & saving space by stacking them.

It was a tad cool during the meeting, so luckily Sheila's rug could double as a coverlet!

Sue's completed footstool.

A drawing was held at the meeting.
When Judy downsized for her move, she donated the 2014 Guild Raffle Rug she'd won back to the Guild.

The lucky winner was Sheila.  Thank you Judy!  You're definitely  missed in the southwest Indiana world of rug hooking!

Hope to see you at the May meeting.

The Guild usually alternated meetings  every other month at the Washington Public Library.  Since they do not foresee hosting group meetings until at least fall, the Guild is on the look-out for a June meeting to be held in Vincennes.
