The next meeting of the
Hoosier Hills Rug Hooking Guild
will be:

Saturday, April 13 at 10:30 AM
Washington, Indiana Public Library

While we return to our roots in April, the March meeting was held in Huntingburg.  There, Main Street may be tore up & a deluge of rain occured, but rug hooking commenced.

Libby is working on a new project, because.......

The Yard Stick cover is finished!  It was made for an antique tapered square yardstick and was definitely worth all the work with 3 cuts!!!  Hmmm... how tall are those folding chairs?!!

Anne's working on her last few rows... now to finish her piece!

Sue's looking ahead to joining Linus in the pumpkin patch, provided she gets this done by October!

Sharon's using up scrap linen by making coasters.
Ironically, Holiday World thought she was making a roller coaster.

Betty's getting all proddy with a wreath.
If you can't see the forest for the trees, can you at least see Betty in the forest of Quillie Trees?  Plans are in process for making these trees at an upcoming meeting, so members be sure to check your email.

Sheila's doing 'cross-craft training' as she's working on a counted-cross stitch made with silk thread.
Hope to see you in April!!!
(Sans the April Showers!)

  1. Are any entry level classes offered through your group, or do you have any Bloomington friends that offer classes

    1. We're a guild that meets and hooks. We don't usually give classes per se. But you are welcome to come to any meeting and sit in and get a personal lesson, free! I'm about the closest Guild person who lives near B-town. I live near Worthington. If you want to meet & learn with a group that hooks in Worthington, contact me. jaf1944@gmail.com
