Jane's ready to lash, but should she use green, red, black
yarn to complete the job?

We had a pretty full house & a lot of rug action going on in August...

Not that we ever doubt that Shirley stays busy, but
Shirley has been busy!!!
This runner measures a mere 98" by 28"  (8' x 2'4")
and is definitely an all-star piece!!

Anne is taking a break from finishing projects to start some chicks!
This is 2 out of 8 completed, perhaps they'll end up as 
an Easter garland?

Marsha has been busy with her colorful rug!
It's quite eye-catching & she's good about 'coloring' in the lines!
 

As she gets blocks filled in, Chrystal's rug is 
less of an eye test ;) 

Sue's back to making footstools!  
Can you guess which high school it promotes?

Jane's gnomes are creeping past Augtober &
heading towards Christmas season!

This rug is what Libby is currently working on.  She decided that the colors she was using in the border were too busy.  So she is taking them out & replacing them (a few are remaining on the bottom half of the piece). 
What a difference those colors make!

(Note:  I tried to make this a side by side comparison but
the program wouldn't comply with my wishes.)   

Shirley has returned to working on a rug she started awhile ago.

Chalk up another completed project for Anne!!!
She really likes pink, and the colors in this piece
really work well together to highlight that color.

Jane figures there's no place like g'home for the holidays.
Only 5 more months til it's their time to shine! 

Jane is ready for fall with her new rug hooking 'slipcover' display.
Easy peasy way to switch out your home decor!

Only a few more inches of whipping her edge and
Jane's pillow will be ready for the holidays.

And speaking of whipping the edges, Sue will definitely 
be ready for fall.

Anne continues her Project Completing Phase,
with an appropriate basket of May flowers!

Jane's pumpkins are gourd-geous and will be finished
as a 'slip cover' to be displayed on a stand.  

Shirley is outfoxing us all with this little cutie!

Here's what was the April meeting showered us with:

Anne continues to work on completing her projects.  

You could say this one is gourd-geous!  

Chrystal's front porch continues to get ready for
summer sitting!  Will there be iced-tea?  

Marsha continues to cross her i's and dot her t's,
uh, make that, fill in her squares & circles.  

Debates were held regarding the color to use for
the backing of Jane's snowy scene pillow-to-be.

When not debating, Jane worked on her pumpkins.
Yes, they are also gourd-geous!

The secondary circles are starting to appear on
Sharon's kaleidoscope rug.  

Sue's making progress on her rug!  
Close to being able to fill in the background.

 .... time marches on... to the next meeting of the rug hooking guild, which due to many members unavailable to meet, will be in April…. April 13 to be exact

Here's what the groundhogs of February produced....

Marsha, I mean, Marsha's witch & cat are enjoying a full-moon rising!
With the hooking completed,
Marsha was working on binding this gorgeous rug.

Anne's got two more projects completed!  The carrot is 3-D,
which will make it easier for bunnies to munch on.

Sue's work on the tribute to 1776 is done.  
Next step: binding it.

Jane's trip with her tree will be even prettier once she has a 
horizon to look at.

Slowly but surely Chrystal's squares are filling in.
This one is definitely better seen in person.

With her witch all but done, Marsha has more 
time to devote to her circles & squares.  

And finally..... if you want autographs of the Guild Members who graced the front page of the February 14, 2024 edition of the Sun Commercial, bring your copy in to the meeting!

Chrystal's porch project is taking on more loops
and getting ready for warmer weather!

Now that Christmas is over, Jane's packing up her tree
& taking it to 'live on the farm'.  

Sharon's pinecone isn't to use for crafting,
it's the craft itself!  

At this point Marsha's new project appears to be
a wacky chess board.  

The Revolutionary War may be over, 
but Sue's project isn't quite yet won.
