At the August Meeting:

We had joy, we had fun...
We had rug hooking in the sun...

Well, actually at Serendipity Fibers in Huntingburg - but it was a fun meeting and the store is well lit with lots of natural sunlight.  Long time member Betty attended and there was a guest, Libby, newly returned to the area after living east of the Hudson River & other places.  During our time spent hooking members took breaks for lunch down the street.

Peek-a-boo!  Betty shows off her latest work in progress:

With Libby working behind her, Judy isn't chicken to show her face:

Anne's rabbit now shows off it's pinks & snack:

Apparently Kathy's head needed a soft place to land, so Sug accommodated her while Betty looks on:

Libby brought along her current project:

Details of her cherubs and the bottom edge:

And for the show & tell portion, Libby brought along a quilt her mother-in-law hand pieced - gorgeous!  The pictures don't do it justice - much prettier in person!

Due to the Danville Hook-In and the WRVAA show in Elnora being held on Saturday, Sept 9th, the regular meeting of the Guild has been cancelled as several members will be attending those other events.  The October meeting will return to our regular meeting location,
Washington Public Library at 10:30 AM.

However, those looking for a crafting opportunity on Sunday, Sept 10, take note of the following opportunity!

Monday, August 7, 2017

The August meeting of the Guild will be held on the same bat date, but please note the changes to the bat time & bat location (bat capes are optional):
