Highlights of the February meeting ...

The Hoosier Hills Rug Hooking Guild met for their second meeting of the year at the Library in Washington on Saturday, February 14.

After some time to visit, the president called the business meeting to order.  She welcomed 10 members and one guest, Sue from Vincennes, to the meeting.  Sue read about the group on this web page and expressed interest in getting to know more about rug hooking and the Guild.

Here are highlights of the business discussed at this meeting:
  • Reminder that 2015 member dues of $15 are now due.
  • To clarify an item discussed at the last meeting, it was decided that if children attend Guild meetings, they must be accompanied by a Guild member or a responsible adult.
  • Everyone who wanted to participate in the May 1st & 2nd hooking retreat in Santa Claus, Indiana will be able to attend.  The 15 members who signed up are urged to contact the instructor, Lori Cravens, at their earliest convenience to let her know what their project will be.
  • Reminder that Mary Jane Todd will teach a punch needle class at the March meeting for those interested.  Others may hook.
The brief business meeting was adjourned.  Members stayed to hook, share and socialize.

[Notes for this meeting were taken by Marsha Mulroony, for which this member is sincerely grateful.  Thanks Marsha!]
